married, who have none; she and Marguerite are dispairing of dying without seeing any little ones. The young couples, naturally, had no comment.

Our records (Xmas presents to each other) have come and I will hear them tonight, when one of the couples we know, friends of whom included them on a giant economy order to New York, will bring them over. I ordered several on the basis of remembering having heard them years ago, so I will be greatly interested in finding out if I still feel the same way. I will be introducing Jack to some of the early masters which he is not so familiar with and he, in turn will introduce me to one of his favorite pieces of music.

I will be going up to Chicago Friday night. [[strikethrough]] Our [[/strikethrough]] We will attend a party given by Jack's brother Jim for his newspaper friends Saturday night and see other friends who were out of town last week end. Marguerite may be back sometime during the week end.

Must go back to work, my lunch hour is over.
