Dear folks,

Well, we just go home from Chicago and are pretty well settled. I don't understand why you didn't have our address, since we wrote to you on Tuesday & our letter must have gotten to you by Saturday, when you wrote us.

We went to get our kitties on Friday, when at last the paint was all dry and our home furnishings complete. We had to get scatter rugs, lamp shades, etc. There were only 2 babies left, since the people who boarded the family decided to keep one. They are coal black, about a month old, & look like [[strikethrough]] little [[/strikethrough]] big tarantulas. The mother looked thin & refused to eat our cat food for several hours, then she began & has eaten all sorts of food
