we can run quickly up to Chicago to see folks & store it. En route back will take a little, very necessary load back to D.C.

We hope to be on the job on June 27 and work through September 16- 12 weeks and about $900 net taxes. I'll work part-time, I think, & work part-time free for a conservation organization (National Parks Assn.) if the Exec. Soc. still wants me (he did).

We'll probably start for Colo, on the 12th and arrive on the 14th; visit folks for 2-3 days, and have about 5 days in the mts. before a 4-day trip back to D.C.

You asked about house facilities here. Yes, the cooking is fine & I do most of the laundry myself. Jack has just gotten some no-iron summer shirts so the shirt bill is off. The place is not too cool, but up to now the weather has been mostly cool & rainy.

You also enquired about art class students. I think we have a good class.. have heard it called the best freshman class in years.. but can think of only one person with real facility in all my classes. I am a regular B student, which is in the upper half of the class, perhaps the upper third. I don't know whether we can bring the projects to D.C. (room?) but will try to do so.

'Nuff for now.

Love, Doris
