Dear folks,

One other word on the Chicago storm of two weeks (nearly) ago... 500 drivers had minor or major accidents in the Chicago vicinity. Jack is a pretty good driver and we were lucky.
The fortunate thing about such a storm is that there are very few hills. On one of the one or two hills I saw, four or five cars were off; elsewhere I saw more. A red light just before this hill must have made motorists curse.

Dolores should have heard from us by this time.

We have discovered that we won’t move until April 1, but that saves us money. We have a signed lease now. We may cancel it a month in advance of leaving, or we may also sublet it for the summer in order to "have a home" when we come back. It is well located & cheap & ought to go [[strikethrough]] well [[/strikethrough]] easily.
