Dear folks,

Interesting news about Stoughton. Not having a radio which works, we hadn't heard of the storm. Our weather has been quite chilly lately- averaging 5-10 degrees during the day, & we had a four inch snowfall two days ago. The skies are very blue these days otherwise. We got a nice photograph of a chilled spot in our presently favorite walking place, the large house "ranch" just outside of town; if we had a minute we'd go there now.

I had thought things were as busy as they could get but they are getting busier. The weekend before last I was studying for an exam & translating Russian. This last weekend we had a lot of social events-- Thursday we visited the Blankfields (old friends), Saturday Lloyd was our host (ditto), all day Sunday the Leewits visited (from 2- to 10), & we all made Christmas things very busily. Georgia had previously showed us how to make
