covers were cut out [[drawing]] of
colored aluminum; so I made about
twenty-thirty of these; Roland made a 
coat-hanger tree to hang on the wall +
we decorated it with the pompoms. Jack
was making our X-mas cards and Gloria
made a big wreath of pompoms. We got
some nice photos of these activities and
results. In the middle we cooked a joint
dinner.    Monday night the Junior and
Senior Physics wives met at the home of
the head of the Physics department Tuesday
night we went to our regular Film Society
mare....in between I finally get the 14
page Russian translation (typed) all ready
and checked and typed + corrected and
am sending it off today. Now I have
an other hour exam and loads of problems
due which I am not ready to start since
about 80 X-mas cards must be turned out
with messages in two days, some little
shopping (for your box) must proceed and
another Russian job may come Jack
is equally busy, [[?]] had a bad
complication in his experiment (sent
the wrong materials, not his fault) +
hasn't had time to keep up prelim
study lately We won't go to Chicago
until the day before Christmas the school
stops the 19th It's fun , but work! I'm
sending card now the perhaps more appropriate
