Dear folks,

We aren't doing much of anything these days. The week end was pleasant but I had the intestinal flu after it and am falling behind a little in homework and housework. It never lasts over two days with me but that is enough to use up much valuable time.

The ship models you ask about are on the scale of 50 feet to the inch, so the largest is not over about a foot long, & most are way under that. They are also very thin. I trust we will have them until November. They really do not occupy much space but their boxes must be handled carefully to avoid breaking any of the tiny masts, antenna wires, etc.

We are still eating the little pears which are not all ripened. The tomatoes are gone, though.

The last pictures came out moderately well - but we disregarded grandpa's
