I have gotten a small Russian translating job. While looking thru the contents of a Russian journal I found an article on the experiment Renato (works in Jack's area) is doing, which he eagerly [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] wanted & will arrange payment ($10) on. I expect to do it this afternoon.

The class in atomic physics is very small & taught by a very likeable man I had once before, Lavatelli. We ask a lot of questions in class, which is enjoyable.

We are having the DeWits over Friday night to show slides (both parties have some). They & we both enjoy it very much. Saturday night we are invited to dinner by the Boboteks.

The apartment is very quiet & peaceful, except for one occasion recently. Jack decided to get rid of all his old Army caps & hats, so I gave them to the little boy next door. For some hours he & his pals had a very loud war game on outside, but they seem to have lost interest since!

As mother said, I won't believe the List is done until I see it, either.

Love,
Doris
