Dear folks,

Hot weather has finally arrived. The rains aren't entirely over, but not every day any more. The apartment is cool but at work I suffer.

We are glad to hear you [[strikethrough]] are [[/strikethrough]] have been to Pemaquid. Jack remembers that place very well, having never seen anything like it.

Last week end we had a busy (& good) time. Friday night I took some sewing to the Cederstrands, who were preparing for their vacation in Albuquerque. Saturday we moved in the refrigerator & I shopped & did laundry. In the evening we went to Ralph Lewis's Ph.D. party, a good one. Sunday we went to a new state park with the De Wits.

This week I haven't managed to get a pile of work done - mostly sewing & ironing - but will try tonight. This week end on Sat. morning we will move the last part - the couch and set of chairs & table. Then I will shop, etc.
