Our final exam period begins May 28. I will have the Russian and differential equations exam right away, and the last exam around June 4-6. Jack also has some early & some late exams. He has gotten a full-time summer appointment (doubles the salary). We still have no idea at all as to when we will take a summer vacation; if we can take any.

This week end I will have to finish that coat lining & other essential mending jobs and bring out spring & summer clothing, & put away & clean the winter clothing. Last week end between cleaning & entertaining I couldn't get anything done. It is quite warm here now, although not hot yet.

We have gotten a young perch, who is doing well. A lot of algae supplies him with both meat & vegetables. Photos enclosed: please return, tell us if you want any copies.

Love,
Doris

P.S. Jack just got a fine English bicycle for $20 to replace his old heavy one, which had just about fallen apart.
