Dear folks,
Clear and cold here these days. It makes me almost sorry I have ripped my winter coat apart (to remake the lining; I have the new lining materials on order). I am also repairing Jack's winter jacket, which needs a new zipper and turned collar, etc. I guess I'll do the work myself after all. 

In answer to your query about the furniture + apartments, one can get them unfurnished but with stove and refrigerator all right. We won't be looking until late summer. Rossi leaves town today. We paid him, and our friend Ralph Lewis moves into Rossi's apartment until we find our new apartment + take the furniture. Ralph hopes to go to work in Heidelberg after receiving his degree this summer. When we leave town we can rent a drive-it-yourself truck + save considerably on moving expenses, if we decide to keep pieces of furniture. As it
