Dear folks,

As you have probably heard, it was as rainy in Chicago as elsewhere on Easter Sunday. The first sun shone on Monday, making our trip back pleasant. We just saw people in Chicago, visiting our two Davis couples & having a family dinner on Sunday with Jim, Shirley and the two sisters and a brother who have been lifelong friends of the family. the Starcks. Monday I did a little shopping & got a skirt and long-sleeved blouse for the long spring weather. The Skirt is plain & brown & the blouse white with green roses all over it. We had a quite restful vacation.

Yesterday I finished translations & typing up the second math paper, a [[crossed-out]] two [[/crossed-out]] five-page one, & may be paid today or tomorrow, depending when the fellow comes around, for the two of them. I hope it is soon so that we can get Jack a pair of pants (much needed) Friday.

When there are no paying jobs I will translate much less, for the physics librarian probably. She is extremely nice to me, having routed the
