Dear folks,

It is another gray March day here..the sun usually shows early and then goes away for the rest of the day. no snow, however. It does look as if it'll be a late spring everywhere. Marguerite sent me a snapshot taken in Louisiana of the children making their first snowman.

My Russian article is about done; it requires typing a bit (not much) and a final check. I'll do the next one more slowly.

I wonder how Nick did in his exams. We haven't heard anything, have you?

I began looking for summer work yesterday. It's very hard to get, but something may turn up. I need a full-time job and can translate in the evening.

We received a letter from Alan Talbert, who is enjoying his new car and thinking
