job in C.U is most unlikely.

The translating of the 35-pp. article is moving right along, the vocabulary being fairly repetitive after the first few pages; I have done about 7 pages this week so far, representing about $16. I am charging 1¢/wad, which is very reasonable, the professional outfits charging from 2¢/wad up.

That is really the only interesting news of the week, tho' we did have the big Physics Dept. student-staff party last Saturday night. That was pleasant, with the usual skits by both faculty and graduate students. Thanks to taking up my "office" in Jack's lab I have met a lot of graduate students, tho' I don't know many wives.

Too bad about the tenants but I guess they will shortly be looking for a new home. We had a family of 5 children across the hall recently but their place has been taken by two small (1,2) boys; I prefered the 5 [[?]] [[?]]. I think we may move again (9th time?) this summer if we can find a really quiet place.

Pictures of the cat and dog made us miss Penelope. Perhaps, with a cauum cleaner, we can try a cat again. no pets here allowed, tho!

Love,
Doris
