Dear folks,

Well, you've certainly had some bad weather recently! Eleven inches is quite a lot for D.C. We've had a recent snow too, but it was light. It's very cold here now, was 7 degrees this morning with a strong breeze.

Thanks for the photographs. It shows quite a bit of the garden, too.

Finally hung up your picture today, instead of just setting it up on something. During the vacation may hang & frame other pictures. We brought a little oil by Jack down from Chicago on the last trip & hung it. Pictures really improve the place!

Also, today I finally finished Christmas shopping and am mailing off your box. Last night we cut up the Christmas cards and I suppose I will start writing them today.

About the lemon pie & pizza. The pizza is a mix, the pie recipe is on the Borden's condensed milk can. Jack first made it for me many years ago.

I'm not quite sure of how to reach the boys; I have an old home address for them (from last Christmas) and the fact that they are in Fort Dix and Dartmouth respectively. Fort Dix is too general, but a letter to Dartmouth might do. If you have any suggestion, I'll
