Dear folks,

Thanks for all the material. I have already informed Harper's of our change of address but guess not in time. Perpetual should have known better for, so I will write them again. Jack will appreciate the Rand McNally atlas. We're very sorry to hear of Davies' death. I don't think the assistant he had will be much of a substitute.

The lay-out of our apartment is this:

It is fairly well furnished with white net curtains in living & bedroom, red couch & twin stuffed chairs, purple rug, green walls , in which our green chair & red & green pillows go well. Kitchen is blue, red, & yellow & I made café curtains for the window last week-end.

I forgot to tell you of the accident we had on the trip. At about 8 on Saturday night we were coming out of Dayton, Ohio in a mob of cars. Jack was tired, & when a car braked ahead of him he had not been keeping his proper (and unusual) distance behind. He didn't hit the car, but the car behind us hit us, and as is veered to
