One mower threw a [[strikethrough]] piece [[/strikethrough]] bolt with such force that it punctured a car door 50 feet away! The gasoline or reel mower are almost impossible to use on small lots with shrubs & such and need of frequent twisting of mower. A new type of mower which is more satisfactory than either a stone or reel has come out but is still quite imperfect. So I guess you’re better off as is.

We are going to have a big party after all our exams, probably on June 7. Perhaps 10 people. It’s sort of [[strikethrough]] a [[/strikethrough]] nice to look forward to after the troubles are over.

I guess I said that our friend, the Weiners are not leaving town (job cancelled by government), so we won’t get their apartment. Rents are really ridiculous here. I called one 3-room furnished apt. going for $115 just now, don't see any ad under $80 (which we will not pay). I'm counting on the big town paper having better ads, & this desperation of some land lords any way.  There's been quite a row lately, between the Apt.- Builder's Assn. and student groups, the former angrily denouncing University plans to build married student housing & the latter as fervently replying.
