Dear folks,

Things are about as busy as ever, but not quite so bad. Test is over; I did badly, got a C+ this time. So I am trying to catch up. In the lab I have gotten high grades, the only place I really have had luck this semester. My poor lab partner isn't well prepared; he copies from me & gets poor grades. He's planning to be an electrical engineer & is pretty discouraged, as he got D on the exam.

Jack is very busily negotiating with automobile insurance, which expires in a week. We are not keeping our AAA insurance, which is high; with a foreign car you don't gain to have it, tho' it pays for itself in one towing if you only have to be towed to an ordinary garage (U.S. car). I think he'll get Traveler's, which was recommended by a lawyer we know. We've heard such bad stories about some of the lower-rate companies like State Farm when it came claim-collection time.
