Dear folks,

The hectic period for me is almost over, but today will be a whopper. I don't feel adequately prepared for the physics hour exam tonight. After that the combined Russian class will sing songs for 1/2 hour in preparation for an event: next Monday a guest speaker just back from Russia will show slides & talk; we will serenade her. Poor woman! After this song-fest I have my Recorder session with Beatrice.

We heard from Alan about Roy's death. Alan wasn't with him in the car, I don't imagine. Roy was not a careful driver, had been in 3 complete wrecks already, so fate mathematically caught up with him. He was heavily insured, fortunately. I certainly feel sorry for his wife & 2 children.

Spring is not far along here either but the weather is fair and getting into jacket season. The Volkswagen top is
