111 East Healey Champaign, Illinois March 7, 1957 Dear folks, I guess you waited awhile for our letter last week. My second attempt turned up in Jack's pocket two-three days after he had mailed it. We are just about settled, I repeat. I still have about 10 shirts to iron & three floors to wash & wax. There will be a math hour exam & and a quiz tomorrow and a physics hour exam next Wednesday; I take my Civil Service test Tuesday. Jack is also busy. His Quantum Mechanics teacher gives three assignments a week, each requiring about 6 hours. He spends 20 hours teaching, plus takes two other courses. The students in Quantum finally complained, yesterday, & the teacher replied that he was giving the bare minimum. My Russian teacher is stepping up her attack, assigning one or two 30-sentence translations (into Russian) a week. She says it punishes her badly too... Now she has 5 poems she wants us to memorize in a week. Glad to hear you got paid off at last. Regarding the blouse, I believe it is wool jersey.
