Dear folks, 

Thank you for the recipe (or receipt).

This week is one of the most hectic ... this week end we must go to Chicago to attend a friend of Jack's wedding: buying gift, attending wedding & reception plus driving up all on Saturday. That pretty well takes care of Saturday. Sunday we’ll have to do some homework as well as ride back.

Tonight I go for my first recorder session with friend Beatrice. She has a treble (G-clef) recorder; mine is soprano (C-). Unfortunately almost no music is written specifically for that combination, so I'm transposing to play pieces designed for [[strikethrough]] a [[/strikethrough]] another treble instrument with her. Jack's recorder is F-alto, for which Combination (alto & soprano) much is written in my lesson book, so we should have an easy time of it. I found out today that [[Tocnogur?]] Coleman, in my Russian class, also plays recorder. He is a  [strikethrough]] very [[/strikethrough]] real character, the class clown, & we get on fine. He will probably play with us before long, tho' he is much more experienced on
