Dear folks,

We arrived in C-U about 1:00 p.m. today. The drive was pleasant: dry: after we left the mountains. We had a bad time in only one town, West Union: where the speed limit down a long hill seemed to be 2 miles an hour, there were stop lights half-way up hills, and we had to wait for an enormous, slow train at the bottom of another hill.

We returned in plenty of time for registration for me, Jack goes in tomorrow. I have to pick a degree to work for (they won't let me stay an "irregular" student much longer), so I'm [[?]] to make it math.

The crawdad is O.K. and everything else seems in order. We had one grapefruit en route.

Love, Doris
