In reply to yours of the 3d I have the honor to say. It is desired that the Dist Sup's. Report of Schools should furnish a full exhibit of all that is being done for the education of the Cold people; and this office must depend upon yours, to secure the necessary reports, both from teachers sent on by benevolent associations, and from col'd or white teachers of private schools.

I send you today all the blanks I have. Shall receive more in two or three days from Washington, and will then send more.
