I am instructed by Gen. Brown A.A.A.G. to write to you, and direct that you make immediate requisition for what is necessary in the way of repairs to the building occupied by the colored schools in Suffolk, so that they may be made comfortable as soon as practicable.

Captain: I have the honor to inquire whether the building known as the "Mud Wall" and the other two named in your communication of Oct. 5, were erected by the Confederate Government? and whether they are the same that are advertised for sale on the 27th of Nov. by the Com'r of the Court.
