Rev. Crammond Kennedy
Cor. Sec.
Dear Sir:
I regret to be obliged to inform you that we have lost, temporarily, at least another of our teachers. Yesterday Miss Wager was called home by the sickness of her father - he not being expected to live. Miss W. desired that her place should not be permanently filled, as she thought she should return [[strikethrough]] return [[/strikethrough]] in case she should find her father already dead, or if he should die in a few days. To dismiss her school on uncertainty, or for as long a time as she must necessarily be absent would be little better than dismissing it until next July. Hence I am compelled again to put my daughter in the vacant place. In case Miss Wager should conclude not to return, I hope you will have a substitute ready to come at once.
Very Respy
R. M. Manly
