Rev T.G. Murphy
My Dear Sir:
Your letter of the 12th in relation to the school at Burkeville is this day rec'd. You judge correctly that I would not knowing be a party to any such transaction as seems to have been made at B. With 125 places, on file, petitioning for schools I would not attempt to resupply a place already supplied. I simply understood that there was no teacher there, and supposed I was dong a good work in supplying the deficiency. As for denominationalism, - I care nothing nothing but that the teachers should be good and skilfull. I will write to Rev. Mr. White, and endeavor to have justice done

Yours Truly
