By direction of Gen Brown I write to inquire how a school room may be most readily provided at Little Washington, and whether, in case a school room is provided, any colored resident there can be found who is competent to teach and who could obtain a support from the people, as teacher.  The General has understood that there is a small unoccupied building there for rent or sale that would answer the purpose
