Miss Martha A. Cooke

Yours of the 9th is recd. I have already written (last July) to the society, at their request, in reference to all the teachers who were at my house, so that you will require nothing from me in making your application.

It occurs to me, however, that you may wish to use the paper with some other society; if so, and you will state what one. I will at once write, and make the paper more specific and servicable than I could otherwise do.

I shall always be glad of an opportunity to do you a service.

Hoping that you are both in good health.

I am very Resp'y --
Yours &c

R.M. Manly
Sup Ed.
