same provision will be made at Jeffersonville and Marion as has heretofore been made at Wytheville and other places in this state."

The N. Y. Yearly Meeting of Friends has supported the teachers at Wytheville. Am I to understand that that association has engaged to send teachers to the two places indicated?

In regard to "other places in this state" the provision for the support of teachers has been very various, and in some cases entirely inadequate--a provision which could not be accepted as the basis of an appropriation.
