Rev Crammond Kennedy
Cor Seo-
Dear Sir: Enclosed find two papers which will explain themselves. Can you meet the requisitions, and can you can you meet others of the same character ie. calls for colored teachers whose the board will be paid? There are a number such very urgent cases. Please return the papers with your endorsement.

I hope you are prepared to do more for Richmond than you named in your list of teachers recently forwarded. For instance; You named only five for Navy Hill (aside from High School). There are six school rooms, and there should be an alphabet class Lalone. Miss Jones class in the 6th room. Then Miss Hancock will require two assistants in her building-there are three fine rooms in it. These might be colored. Even with these supplied there is a large deficiency left by the withdrawal of the Bap.H.M.Sec.,

At the Old 1st African, last year were three white teachers and six colored assistants and at Shareze Church, Three white and one colored assistants. It is a great pity not to have Miss Knowles and her assistants returned to Shareze Church, There until and one colored assistant. It is a great pity not to have miss Knowles and her assistants returned to Shareze.

Very Resp'y - R.M. Manly
