March 30
Gen. W. Graham A.L.A.C

Dear Sir:

Your application for permission to rent a school room has returned to my table. I will retain it and write directly, for the sake of a more proper understanding.

Your application does not give the price asked for the room nor the time when the rent should begin. Our rule is not to rent rooms on any uncertainty. As soon as you know when the school will begin ask rent from that time stating the price (having it as low as practicable) and it will at once be approved. It might be as well for you to have leases made in triplicate and forwarded for approval.
