Dear Sir: There are no new orders on the subject of transportation of teachers- since the old ones hold good we suppose, and these allow transportation from the teachers home to the field, but not return. Application should be made to Gen Howard two or three weeks before the teacher wishes to leave home for transportation station, the point from which and to which. The application should be made by the Sec. of your association, and the tickets will be forwarded to the teacher or the Sec. as requested, from Genl Howards office
