Dear Madam:
We have information that the lot on which your school building stands at Charlotteville has been sold.  We have written to ascertain whether it can be rented of the purchaser.
Meantime I have obtained consent to make you the following proposition in the hope of a final and definite solution of the question.

1st We will rent the old place for you - if it can be rented- and make such temporary repairs as may be required, looking only to a years occupancy.

2nd Or if you prefer to build, the Bureau will give you $1000, and the old building or anything that can be made out of it by the sale.  It has been whispered that the owner of the land would claim the building.  We dont see how they can, but in
