Nov. 14

Gen. H.G. Thomas S.A. Comr.

Dear Sir:

In reply to yours of the 12th I would say that so far as the support of Miss Wadsworth is concerned I depend upon Mr. Jones as Agt. of the Friends Society, to see it through. It is arranged, I believe, that Hd. Qurs. at Washington is to assist the leading educational associations by the payment of $10. per month for each teacher - in the form of rent I think; - but it is something which will go on without our intervention or care.

In regard to Saferight I do not know what can be done. The Friends Soc., which has had a school there for two or three years, has been depended upon for a school for the current year, as I informed you in Sept.

Very Respy,
R.M. Manly
