Dear Sir: Yours of the 4th is at hand. As we have no Bureau Officers at remote points we must rely upon our friends to aid us. I enclose some blank forms on which a monthly allowance of 25 cts per scholar, reckoning the Average Attendance, may be paid. This is from a private fund placed at my personal disposal. Teachers must be careful that the average attendance is correctly obtained and not overstated. Observe that each teachers fills up two of these blanks and signs them, as directed, on the last day of each month and forwards them to me, saying the money shall be sent. They may fill out for December. I cannot go farther back.

Please give me, at once, the P.O. address of each teacher and the Society by whom commissioned. We have been expecting and are still expecting to get $10. per month for each commissioned teacher from Washington. If this is obtained they will get it. I wish each teacher would write me a letter all about their school, giving me a full account of it.
