I wrote you concerning Benj. J. Roberts who is at "Flint Hill. Culpeper Co." — a very good teacher, and a young man of good character. His services are much needed in Norfolk, at Deep Creek, where would be boarded by the people and I [[strikethrough]] will [[/strikethrough]] will aid out of the Peabody fund. His transportation should be from Culpeper C.H. to Norfolk. He will stop here on his way and I will give him full instructions. I hope you will forward him the transportation at once. Upon looking at the map I judge that the transportation had better be from Gordensville.
