My Dear Sir:
If the "Richd Ed Assn" comes into the possession of your Navy Hill school property the funds will probably have to come from the government. I have been studying how best to present the matter to the Bureau at Washington and it seems to me that you had better address a communication to Genl. Brown with such statements as you wish to make in regard to the cost of the property. your purpose to close your affairs, your wish to sell to the Ric'd educational Asso'n &c &c. He will refer the communication to me for a report and then the whole will be forwarded to Washington with his favorable endorsement.
Very Respy
