fact that they assume to control the buildings. Without any Bureau - matters remaining as they are - I fear that no good schools could be kept there, and that important post would be substantially lost.     Col. S. P. Lee, the Bureau officer there thinks if you would furnish the $800 due for the land, that he could get the trustees to deed the property to you. 
   I hope you will secure the means to come into possession of this property; then at the proper time, if you do not wish to retain possession you can sell to the city. But nothing can be done with this city now. This matter requires prompt action. Please correspond with Col Lee.
