In the first place I wish to make the general remark, that such has been the unexpected increase in the attention in almost all the schools aided from the Peabody fund, that I must either shave down the allowance per pupil or [[?]] some schools I am pursuing the former method. If you prefer the latter please indicate some of your schools to be discontinued. Montgomerys average for Feb. in distinctly given 14 1/2 and for March it read's as distinctly 1631 ! Isn't his school getting so large that it had better be discontinued?
Very Respy
