Rev. Mr. Richardson
Dear Sir:
Your long letter of the 15th of April is recd. Will you answer me these questions in as few words as possible.

How long have you been teaching? How many scholars have you had in daily attendance? In what sort of a building is your school held, and do you have to pay anything for the use of it?

You also speak of [[strikethrough]] the to [[/strikethrough]] Commodore D. Hurt. Where are their schools? and give me the same information about their schools as I have asked for from yours.

No one can be more anxious to aid the people to schools than I am and I shall do what I can.

Yours Truly
R.M. Manly
