Sir,

Upon examination of my School Reports I find that no School has been in session at Cripple Creek since April.

This Bureau does not pay rent for School Buildings unless the schools are/is operating.  The receipts you signed for May rent are herewith returned, as rent for that month is disallowed.

When the school is again open I shall be glad to pay you rent again.
