Miss Ada W. Smith

Yours of the 19th is at hand. The same house, "St. Marks," should be reserved for you. It is the only place I know of that can be had, and I understood you that you know of no other. The Halifax School house also shall be reserved, and I will inform the other Society (which has recently occupied it) accordingly.

I am mystified by the remark in your letter "In a locality selected at your own discretion (as we talked of last year)". I have as many talks in a year, that I cannot recall the one you allude to, unless it was your desire for a good building in Norfolk for a Normal School.

Yours Truly
