Henry M. Laing
Treasurer, F. Assn. of Philadelphia
30 North Third Street.

Sir,

An examination of your Societies rental account for the quarter ending June 30th 1869, shows that, in accordance with my instructions, it will be necessary to make a deduction in the amount of account, owing to the required average attendance of 30 scholars, per teacher, for each month. I also find that during the month of June, the schools of Misses Jackson, Hall, Loyd and Speer and Mr. Grant were not in session. No reports for June were received from Misses Hurley, Lewis, Brinkerhoff, and Steer. Please send the missing reports to enable me to enable to verify the account, which I am required to do before forwarding it to Washington.

Respectfully
R.M. Manly
Supt. of Ed.
