In regard to the country locations, I have no-one.

In regard to Richmond. At Navy Hill. The Methodist Commission at Cincinnati which had one teacher at my house last year, will have two this, and the Methodist Society will send back Miss Harris, and I expect then to send Miss Perkins who was at Alexandria last year. Then I expect the two largest schools ([[?]]) to be taught by two young women from the Normal School. That leaves nothing for you to do at Navy Hill. But Misses [[?Hammond]] and Lynch are not provided for so far as I know, although they are making efforts themselves in the North. If you can make them return [[?there]] I shall be glad.

Yours Very Truly
R.M. Manly.

P.S.
Miss Canedy does not return to the Normal School. If you know of a teacher fit for that place - one who is high in the profession - one who is worth $700 or $800 per ann. I would be glad to find her and pay her such sum.
