Dear Minnie,

My friend, Miss Kong, has bought two of your crayon drawings She will send you the check, herself. She bough one of the ones you marked $10.00, and the one I wrote you that she wanted. It has a head, surrounded by black background, and with a crown, and part has gold paint. She is paying $25.00 for this one. If you do not receive her check soon, let me know, and I will speak to her.

You asked me about the pictures you sent me earlier this year. You told me to keep them, in case I find I can show them to people who are interested in them. I am keeping good care of them, and have showed them to several people. And now I have sold two for you! I hope you are pleased. I am trying to find someone who can interpret you pictures for you.

I am glad you may come to New York in July. I would love to take you to a Museum. If you will let me know when you will be in New York, I will come down from New Hampshire and take you to a Museum, or two, or to some other place you wuld like to see. Let me know ahead of time, however, as I cannot come without notice.

I was sorry to see that you marked the prices and the N.F.S. on the fronts of your pictures, and in ink. It is much better to put these on the backs, and preferably in pencil. After all, sometime you might want to raise your prices!

Mr. Starr & I both send best wishes- affectionately

Nina Starr
