Dear Minnie,

More good news, a check for $25.00 for one of your smallest drawings, on the paper you used for your first crayon drawings. It was bought by Robert Cordier, who is a play director, and movie producer!. He writes that he is enjoying the drawing very much.

Our committee is meeting tonight, the first time since the exhibition at St. Clement's Church last year. I expect to have each member of the committee (except Mr. Starr and me, who as you know selected ours last spring) choose a gift drawing or painting from you. You remember that you told me when you were here that you wished to give one picture to each committee member. We all appreciate this generosity very much, Minnie.

I want the members to select their gifts before the exhibition I wrote you about at Mr. Parker's club meeting. This will be a private exhibition, Minnie, just at the meeting. But there is still a good possibility of making sales. I will let you know.

I finally heard from my friend at Stanford University about Mr. Henshaw. My friend says that Mr. Henshaw is a graduate student there, which is a very good recommendation. I think if I were you I would try writing to him again. Be sure that the address is exactly the same as on his letter, that I returned to you.

Good luck, Minnie, and love to you and your mother,

Nina Starr
