Dear Minnie,

Your pictures have arrived here, but I have not opened them yet. We just got here, and I am still too busy and tired to get that package open. I want to see your new work and will very soon, but first I want to send you this new check! I sold one of your "design" paintings, a small one on the canvas paper. Mrs. Russell, who lives near us in New Hampshire, likes it very much. So here is another $65.00 for you.

I am very sorry that you have been ill. Do take good care of yourself.

I expect to write to Mrs. Poe today and see just what she wants. Shall I sell her a picture just as I do to other people?

I will also mail to you some of the pictures that are stained and stuck with those old mats. You have some very good drawings among these, that will sell well when we can get them in good shape, so please take good care not to hurt them more. When you have finished with them, send them back to me, please. It is bast [[best]] if you do not try to mount them or frames [[frame]] them.

Don't forget to mind the doctor, please Minnie. Lots of people care about you.

Mr. Starr and I both send best wishes to your mother and George,
With love,
Nina S.
P.S. As usual, I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Rountree.

Dear Mr. Rountree,
Minnie writes me that she has "sweet blood" which I suppose means diabetes. We hope she is in the hands of a good doctor!
