You will proceed to the counties of Botetourt, Roanoke, Pulaski, Giles, Wythe, Smythe, Washington, Montgomery, and Floyd, Va for the purpose of inspecting the Freedmen's Schools in those counties. This duty being performed, you will return to Christiansburg Va, and report to these Head Quarters by letter —
