Dear Sir:

In reply to yours of the 23d —

I shall not be able to continue to pay rent for so small a school. If you can increase your school to not less than 25 pupils, I shall be glad to continue the rent.

Please write me how this will be that I may govern myself accordingly

Yours Truly,

Sir:

What will be the expense of repairing the house so as to make it comfortable?

How many scholars will you have, if you open school?

How much pay shall you expect from the Bureau?

Mr. Hunter is not here and will not be any more.

Yours &c
