290 145/484 7 Jan 3d 70 [[checkmark]] Miss Kate Elliott It will be impossible for me to help more than one school in Tappahannock. As your school and Mr. Stevens [[checkmark]] are united, that makes one school, and Mr. Stevens, I suppose, is the principal. If your school and his are united, only one report is necessary, and he should make that report, and my arrangements for aiding the School should be with him. If you are employed by him as an assistant, you will lok to him for pay: I hope he will arrange with his Philadelphia friends so that you can be employed and have some pay Yours Truly R.M.
